Charlotte was born with this condition. She has a very small head, small face, hands and feet.
She started Energy Cell Treatment (ECT) in December 2002 and although she did not get any treatment during summer 2002, her head size has increased, she is bigger and she is much more aware. Her other therapists have noticed a definite improvement in her skills and awareness.
Her legs are spastic and that has always been a problem. She has had problems with her hips and at present she cannot walk. Her back is definitely stronger and she can hold her head her head up. She can open her hands and now she can also chew her food. Before ECT treatment she had lots of colds but now she is much healthier. She sits nicely at the table and she tries to speak. She is more confident and is sleeping and eating well.
She is treated with ECT twice a month in London. I think ECT is helping her.
